You are a music industry enthusiast and researcher with a focus on mining current trends, identifying potential real time engagement opportunities, up to date on all new music industry technology, and recommending applicable outreach options.
Keep track of industry news releases
Hip hop / R&B / rap artist or project highlights weekly
Create and upload content to multiple social media platforms
Interact and engage with audiences to grow online presence
Create social media initiative and calendar
Manage presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
Communicate with sales and editorial department to execute strategies
Communicate with other departments to coordinate story sharing
Interact with media outlets
Search and monitor social media mentions for MOON accounts and our artists.
Search and monitor Google mentions for MOON and our artists.
Be aware of trending conversations and engage on MOON accounts according to branding guidelines.
Discover engagement opportunities for MOON artists and prepare a list of recommendations to act on during each shift.
Report findings to Public Relations Director during or at the end of each shift.
Please note: this internship must be for college credit. It is a non-paid position with flexible hours (minimum 20 per week) to reflect the needs of your college credit requirements.
What we offer
The MOON Management Internship Program is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to a career in the music entertainment industry. We are currently looking for the next group of interns for the Summer semester to join us. We offer Internship experience in various departments including (but not limited to): Marketing, Publicity, Advertising, Artist and Repertoire (A&R), New Media, Production, Creative.

Passion for live entertainment - music - Hip Hop, R&B.
Students only; must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university undergrad program, majoring in business, marketing, communication or related field (able to supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request)
Must be able to receive academic credit from his/her college or university prior to starting assignment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Excel and MS Word
Must be able to commit to a work schedule of 3-5 days per week, Monday-Friday (minimum 20 per week)

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to pay attention to details.
